Lol.
Maybe that only happened when it was being done officially. I can't say I recall any weirdness when I watched it ages ago (or if there was any, I missed it). I have the A-Source Lililicious version.

Exactly, you have the pure untainted version, not yet desacrated by the putrid grasp of evile and greedy men - much like the characters in the series. There isn't any chance I could bum the rest of what I don't have off of you, could I? Regardless of whether or not I'd decide to show it or not, it is after all something I'd like myself to view and share at my leisure.

That'd be a pretty small chance, unless I happen to come visit at the right time. There's always bittorrent ( although that would be illegal, ahem). If I did come visit, I'm sure I could bring (most of) my collection with me for sharing. It's a big collection, as several of you may well know.

Um...not sure if you're still looking but it seems Zoku Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei is still unlicensed so...I kinda ran into this www.animesuki.com/series.php/1164.html. They're subbed by many different people but all seem to be there...

In my opinion, Zoku wasn't quite as good as the original.
I don't suppose anyone got around to watching the rest of Vandread? We watched the first season after exams last year, but didn't have time to watch the second one.

Alright based on a combination of Maruno's recommendations, my personal tastes, and what was simply easy to get hold of, I have the following in full:
- Rozen Maiden (1st series)
- Antique Bakery
- Kannagi
- Ga-Rei Zero
- Detroit Metal City
- Zoku Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
- DragonHalf
I figure I'll show the first episode of each first meeting (except DragonHalf) and let the society choose which of those they'd like to watch. I might even be able to sell D.M.C. despite its subject matter if I mention that its episodes are shorter than usual which means more time drinking.
Edit: As I would've liked the possibilty of showing Marimite also as it would've been a balancer to Antique Bakery. I may see if I can ninja it into my grasp anyways.

This is what we're watching now this term:

Any suggestions for next term? So far I have:
- Code Geass
- Toradora!
- Ga Rei Zero
- K-On
- Zan Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
I'm also looking for something shoujo also since the anime we've been showing has been rather blokey lately, even if only due to Gurren Lagann and nothing else.
EDIT: Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) perhaps?

Kyoran Kazoku Nikki is a good one, if completely madcap and insane.
And if you could somehow cause a spacetime warp so there's time for you to watch the entiriety of Soul Eater than would also be just peachy.

EDIT: Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) perhaps? I'd hardly say "Jigoku Shoujo" was a shoujo anime, even if it does have the word in its title I've seen all of those except "Code Geass", and they're all good. What about "Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei", though? Okay, there's practically no overarching story to the thing, but they still come before Zan. There's only 3 episodes, so maybe you can fit them in. I'll tell you what's a good series, though: "Eden of the East". I've just finished watching it, and it's shiny. It's a shorter series, but there are a couple of sequel movies being made. I also recommended "Mokke" somewhere at some time. It'd certainly balance out the manliness thing, but thinking about it perhaps it's not quite such a good idea to show it in meetings - I can imagine people getting really bored by it. A longer series. Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi? Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu? Skip Beat? Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo? Special A? Yozakura Quartet? They're just series I've seen that haven't really cropped up yet (to my knowledge). "Skip Beat" and "Special A" might be too similar in genre to some others you're showing, though.

I've already got Ga Rei Zero and Code Geass. I would like to know if you or anyone has already got some of these series which could be loaned to the soc. I don't want to download/buy more than I have to, which is an expenditure of both time and money.
And of course time = money, also girls = time x money, so girls are also money squared. Money is the root of all evil, it thus follows that girls = evil LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Something good of course. As mentioned before, probably something girly to balance my inevitably libidinally-motivated choices.
Edit: I would like a rest from Zetsubo Sensei I think, at least until the Epiphany term.
