Hi everyone,
As we're sure everyone knows we had to cancel our Q&A panel at AmeCon this year as well as delay our registration opening.
The whole committee are sorry that this had to happen but we got thrown a curveball on the Thursday before AmeCon which meant that all our prep had been blown out of the water with no time left to organise anything else.
Please expect all the announcements we would have made during the panel to be made avalible when our redesigned site goes live.

Good news everybody Registrations will be opening on Fuyu-chan’s birthday, to find out the date then check the forums ( www.fuyucon.org/forums/ )and look for Fuyu-chan. Here is a hint from Fuyu-Chan herself, it is very close to the beginning of the year ^_^ There is a Google checkout option and the regular pay by cheque option, you are reminded you will need one of the below forms of identification and it must be valid we would hate to turn people away. Passport Photocard driving license (full or provisional, photographic card only) CitizenCard Prove It Card Validate UK Card Young Scot Card (the new version with PASS hologram, not the old one) Armed Forces photo identity card EU National Identity Card Other ID supported by the PASS scheme (with an authentic PASS hologram) The first 100 people to register and pay will be put into a draw to win 2 pieces of original Fuyu-chan art work as seen on the website itself. You still have time to submit events you would like to see run at Fuyu ’09 the form can be found on the main site.

I've emailed Steve Johnson (The Weird One), the chairman of FuyuCon and he reckons we can get a discount on registration so long as we're above 10 people. Otherwise it's £45 per person to register and staying at the Park Inn, where it's held, is £65 per night for a twin bedroom (£32.50 per person). If this does get significant interest from DUMAS members (or additionally, elsewhere) then it would be proper for me to offer lower registration fees, in addition to a potential discount from FuyuCon, to PAID members. Lower by how much exactly - I'm willing to haggle negotiate.
