Is it just me or is Melody of Oblivion getting better and better?!?
I really like where this is going now. (Not that I haven't always loved it ;D ) I liked the bit near the end with the place where the monsters lived! It looked so cool! Like I imagine the palace of the Gods to be like, from older stories.
- spoiler coming up, just in case anyone missed the last meeting, and hasn't seen it yet! And intends to of course! -
I really liked that Solo was the King of the Monsters as well. How can they not have known??? I mean, the monsters haven't turned him into a robot thing, so he's not a normal human, he's not a Melos warrior either, so he has to be a monster! I wonder why he had something that looked like the 'sacred scar' though ...

...Because it'll probably turn out that Monsters and Meros Warriors are the same, with the same powers and everything. Things like this tend to have that kind of "plot twist".

No theories! I want to be surprised! And someone who's actually seen it may confirm/deny your theory!

Great thread title for a 'no theories!' request.

I meant don't ruin it if you already know what happens! I think I phrased it badly ... Sorry for the confusion! ... Yes, i did phrase it badly, not what I meant.

'Where is this going?' we wondered... Oh, those days of innocence ignorance I can never get back... Great night to have new people turn up, wasn't it? I wonder how this stuff gets planned: 'Chaps, in my considered aesthetic judgment and precise awareness of viewer demographics I judge that we need to make up for lost time and fill our eroticism quota.' Or maybe someone (working very long hours) either got tired of the vaguely existential stuff or worried that viewers would. Or maybe we're meant to read something into the fact that action and passion (in battle, sex, etc.) are identified with the main (individual) characters on both sides, in contradistinction to the (massed, undifferentiated) ape-men, mouse-counters, etc. We got a bit more of a suggestion about what the Monsters are/represent, but it's still pretty mystifying... If their attacks awaken Melos Warriors, and their absence would cause everyone to become ape-men, then maybe they have something to do with individuation/passion/ existential alienation and authenticity. Or maybe I'm just trying to repair psychological damage with overblown speculation.
