I know we already finished watching Genshiken last term, but, since it's so awesome, we decided to start re-watching it after we left the bar on Friday (we being the random people who decided to come round (everyone who comes to the bar is invited btw)).
I'm really enjoying it again. This is the third or possibly fourth time I've seen it.
I just wish there was more. I heard that the manga has more in it. Has anyone read it?
Also, I know a couple of people have had this conversation in the bar, but: "Which Genshiken character do you think you're most like?" (or if you wish, you can nominate someone. =P )

Let's assume we're basing the similarities purely on personalities, not gender or appearance. Because the girls only have 3 Genshiken members to compare themselves with (one of whom is manga-only). The only one I can think of straight away is Indefinite being the First Chairman. Oh, and Steven being Kuchiki Manabu (one of the two freshers from halfway through the series - you know which one). He hasn't shown up this term yet, which I suppose makes him even more like Manabu

The only one I can think of straight away is Indefinite being the First Chairman. *Appears from nowhere* In answer to lelith's question, the manga continues after the anime ends, so in that respect it certainly has more in it. Regarding the story arcs they both cover I don't think they're dramatically different. *Vanishes*
