Get yourself a copy of Paint, then. It's easy enough to copy and paste them around.
With Pokémon game titles, they've always reflected the mascot pokémon of each version (with anything after G1 being the focus legendary pokémon of that game - Ho-Oh, Lugia, Suicune, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga and Palkia). Usually it's colour-based, although Pearl and Diamond can also reflect features of their respective pokémon. Whatever the new titles are for G5, they'd need (most likely) legendary pokémon that match those names. Going for flowers suggests Grass type, which would be nicely different to the many Psychic and Dragon types.

But I'm too laaazzzyyy....
True, but this now raises the question of what legendary pokemon they are going to have in the next games. First it was the Ho-Oh Lugia mythos thing, then Land, Sea and Air (Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz, if we're nitpicking) and now time and space (with Arceus as creation), How're they going to top that?

They're going overboard with all these legends, aren't they? Oh, this pokémon created the Universe (Arceus). That's lovely. What next?
I was going to suggest Life and Death as the next aspect, but that's already been done, in a way (Shaymin and Giratina). I see four main groups of legendaries: "Trebles & Master", "Life & Universe", "Human Nature" and "Misc.", although they can be arranged differently depending on how you look at them.
Three legendary birds and their guardian (Lugia) Three legendary dogs and their guardian (Ho-oh) Three legendary golems and their keeper (Regigigas)
Creator of the Universe (Arceus) Time and Space (Dialga, Palkia) Product of the creation of the Universe (Heatran) Origin of life and clone (Mew, Mewtwo) Super-Ancient / Land, Sea, Sky (Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza) Breeding (Manaphy, Phione) Death (Giratina)
Mirage / Knowledge, Emotion, Will (Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf) Lunar / Dream and Nightmare (Cresselia, Darkrai) Gratitude / Flower (Shaymin) Wish-granter (Jirachi) Alien (Deoxys)
Eon (Latias, Latios) Time traveller (Celebi)
We need another treble, I think. The three legendary fossils or something.

Crystal was okay... I thought all the extra bits and pieces were cool, but didn't particularly like the change in plot, now everything is centered around Suicine for no apparent reason? Suicine's more like the starting point for the legendaries than everything focusing around it, and it kind of loosely fits in with the dragon clan/Lance stuff about the protagonist IMO. Suicine senses something in you and briefly checks you out before it leaves (something in the Crystal protagonist perhaps familiar in itself?), there's some guy who's chasing after Suicine you see a few times, you see Suicine later who is still watching you from afar since you've caught its eye, and after you defeat Team Rocket and get the Clear Bell it waits for you to challenge it at the tower. After you beat/catch it, you then need to try and get the other two beasts same as in Gold and Silver, and then only after you've done that you can go after Houou (Lugia is separate). I think it's quite a nice side-story although a bit strange, and it means you can at least see one legendary beast in your game instead of chasing stuff you can't see until you've seen them once or get help from a friend that's caught one so you can see it in your pokedex. XD There are actually quite a lot of changes to Gold and Silver, far more than I quickly remembered in that post before. I was looking at an FAQ which was describing them and confirmed quite a few things I thought were new including moves, people, redesigned places and story events. ^^ So, with my party, I decided to get a Staryu and evolve it into a Starmie afterall as my sixth member. Being a traded pokemon, it gets experience boosts (I forgot that was a benefit of trading) and it's really good. I gave it Psychic, Recover, Surf and Swift. My Eevee eventually became an Espeon and has really good stats. It learned Psychic as well. ^^ My Onix is getting a bit left behind since it's stats are so unbalanced, but at times it can be great. I equipped it with leftovers which is also useful. I evolved my dandelion pokemon and interestingly enough it *can* learn headbutt... so I've now got a headbutting dandelion on my team. XD The only one I haven't fully evolved yet is my main water one since it doesn't really need it yet and is getting some pretty good stat-increases each level~ ^^ I'm thinking now if I should get rid of Quick Attack for Espeon since it's really really fast anyway and I gave it a quick claw so it seems unnecessary. I've got one TM of Swift and wondering if I should give that to my Beedrill instead of Cut and give Cut to Espeon or something (or maybe look into getting Return instead of Swift?), but I don't know~~ It's good for them to have at least one normal type move I think... Would be nice if there was a better rock move than Rock Throw I could give to my Onix too... >>;;

Everybody loves a headbutting jumpluff, hehehe...
Also; Why not evolve your Onix into a Steelix? Everybody loves steel types, and you could teach it Iron tail or something like that? I forget which ones occur as TMs and which ones they learn....

bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Steelix_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29Steelix doesn't learn Iron Tail naturally in Gold/Silver/Crystal. It does, however, learn all the same moves as Onix, and at all the same levels (plus it'll also learn Crunch at level 49), so there's no harm in evolving. It does get a lot slower, but all other stats increase. That's a great site to use, even if it is slow at times.

Yes, bulbapedia is just that great, I think that's where I found my, 'omg, is that a map of all the pokemon continents with pointers showing where the movies happened?!?!' map. So totally the best map ever. www.psypokes.com is another good site for a more bare bones technical approach to pokemon (lots of guides, lots of info on movesets and that sort of thing). Also; Evolution makes your pokemon slower? that's what Carbos was invented for!

I was thinking about evolving my Onix, but that would mean starting Gold again and getting far enough to trade since my Gold cartridge is empty at the moment (my Staryu came from Blue)... I'll think about it though, but it getting slower when evolved is quite a turn-off... I mean, speed and defence are probably Onix's best stats... but not being super super weak against grass and water would be good... ^^;; By the way, I taught my Onix Iron Tail ages ago so it would have a super effective move against other rock pokemon. ^^
That pokemon site is quite interesting, lots of things I didn't know though there are a few things here and there that don't seem completely correct... only little things here and there...
Anyway, the pokemon champion article on that linked site is quite interesting... From playing Crystal, the way the Kanto trainers keep bad-mouthing the protagonist saying that Johto trainers are weak (until I beat them XD) and calling me the representative of Johto and having that CAL Gold-lookalike-trainer challenge me saying he's come all this way to battle me, made me think that I was the Johto Champion (since I beat the league), or at least still had champion status, and that I was challenging all the Kanto gyms and maybe searching for the Kanto champion (Red) to improve my status of champion since I'd already beaten the Elite Four and the (representative (ex-)) Champion... kind of like being a dojo-destroyer or something! XD
What I was thinking was that would mean was Lance was the champion of Johto before I beat him and possibly was acting-champion of Kanto in the Kanto champion's absense too (since wouldn't he have been the Champion in generation 1 before Blue beat him so was technically a champion in the past too? Either that or they had no champion back then, the Elite Four was really three + champion, or there was a lesser Elite Four member back then Red didn't battle because there was a new champion currently at Indigo Plateau so Lance's status was reduced to Elite Four and that extra person wasn't needed -been ages since I completed Blue so it's hard to remember exactly what was said too XD) or Lance was acting-champion of both regions (perhaps the previous undefeated champions went travelling like I did since I don't think Lance could have beaten Red with his pokemon so Red must have stood down or something, and we know Lance kind of went travelling during the game so leaving Indigo Plateau is okay for a current champion). Red being champion of the Kanto league and Lance being the champion of the Johto league also fits in with what Blue said about only being champion for a short time since he was the Kanto league same as Red, so Lance could still be Johto champion because no Johto trainers had beaten him or something... but then the Red disappeared stuff makes it sound like he resigned from being current champion or something and Lance became representative champion... ^^;;
The rechallenging the Elite Four stuff kind of felt like taking on the challenge again, gambling with the champion status (i.e. defending your champion position) and to see the game ending again (hence the lack of new speech throughout the rechallenge). In other words, an extra that doesn't affect the story. ^^
So... what do you all think about the pokemon champion stuff? ^^ Not very well explained in the game I think... Got your own impressions or versions about the whole thing in your games? ^^

Hmmm.... I always just figured that Johto and Kanto had the same Pokemon League/Elite Four system thing... I mean, generation two does take place some time after Red and Blue, so it's concievable that Red just decided to abdicate his role as champion to go train in other places (read; Silver Cave) and Lance stepped up in his absence.
It's interesting to note that Generation 1's Elite Four system is a bit shaky when compared to the others. Each other Pokemon League Challenge consisted of the Elite Four and Finally a Champion, the Champion apparently being separate from the Elite Four (Steven in G3, Cynthia in G4), however, the only Champion you fight in generation 1 is Blue? so what happened to the theoretical Champion that he must have deposed? I so confoosed...
And as for the 'defeating the Elite Four after I defeated the Elite Four' thing, try FireRed and LeafGreen for weirdness... they act as if they've seen you before 'so, you have come to challenge me again, <insert player name here>!!!', but then it's still all, 'Oh, I'm sorry, <insert rival's name here> is already the champion!' How the hell does that work?!

'You just do the singing, I'll take care of the hard part...'
heh heh heh.... I love that song, as I recall the soundtrack comes with this video on it, as well as having the song in it's track list.
That's an interesting question; I know the japanese have professor Oak's pokemon thingy (an animated short at the end of most episodes never shown in dubbed version, though they did use some of the clips for 'what kind of pokemon are you?') but did they have their own version of the pokerap? the road to viridian city? team rocket's rockin'??

The Japanese version of the Pokérap is called "Can You Say Them All?" (not as catchy, methinks). I can't find it. "Viridian City" apparently doesn't have a counterpart, nor does "Double Trouble". bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokerap

The Japanese "pokerap" was the first song on the moemon video link I gave, you know. =_= It's called "Pokemon Ierukana?" I think it's quite catchy~~ ^^ www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7DmaVlD_SE(the second song is "Hyakugojuuichi" (151) -the first ED) There are various Rocket Dan songs. This one is probably synonymous with the one you are hoping for: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8QOhr_lD4AIt's called "Rocket Dan yo, Eien ni..." (Team Rocket, Forever...) I really like this song (yay for Miki Shinichirou and Hayashibara Megumi! XD). There are a ton of pocket monster OP/ED/Insert/Image etc songs. Just search for ポケットモンスター and ポケモン at anison.info/data/ to find a really good listing of them with details etc. ^^

Grimer and Muk weigh the same. Porygon2 is lighter than Porygon (although that's probably due to having cut its corners off). Gastly and Haunter weigh the same, and are the lightest pokémon (0.1kg).
Shaymin is tied for smallest pokémon with Diglett, Natu, Azurill, and a few others (at 0.2m). Shaymin has exactly the same stats as Mew (100 each), and has the same catch rate as Mew (45, which is the highest catch rate of any legendary pokémon). While Shaymin can purify any location, it can learn the move Toxic.
Despite descriptions of Lickitung focussing on its long tongue, it was not able to learn the move Lick until Generation 2.
While Mew is said to be able to learn every move, it can only learn moves through levelling up, TMs, HMs, and Move Tutors. Even then, it cannot learn Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn (these moves were designed for the starters only) or Draco Meteor (only proper Dragons can learn this, and not even Dragon-like pokémon such as Charizard). Smeargle, on the other hand, CAN learn any move at all (except Chatter), using its own signature move Sketch.
Using moves, and indeed pokémon, in battle does not depend on location. You can use Dive in a desert, you can use Charizard underwater (even though it is said to die if its tail goes out), you can use fish-type pokémon on land. Limiting all this to what seems realistic, though, would be quite a restriction, although it might make things more interesting.
Surf can be learnt by Poliwag, Shellder and Barboach, despite their small size, and by Lickitung, Sentret, Exploud, Munchlax, despite their apparent unrelatedness to water. Charizard couldn't learn Fly in Red and Blue (although it could in Yellow). Doduo can learn Fly, despite its descriptions saying it can barely do so (and has no visible wings).
Farfetch'd is the first pokémon in the National Dex that has no evolution family (in any Generation), and is at number 83. It is one of only 7 pokémon from Generation I (excluding legendaries) that don't (yet) have evolution families. In Generation I, there were 20 pokémon (excluding legendaries) that don't have evolution families (so 13 of those have been given evolutions/prevolutions in later Generations).
Prior to Generation IV, Mewtwo had the highest total stats of any pokémon (typing with some other legendary pokémon like Lugia and Rayquaza). The only pokémon with stats higher than Mewtwo is Arceus. Mewtwo was the first ever pokémon seen in the English dub of the anime. It comes before Mew in the Pokédex, despite being cloned from Mew/the offspring of Mew (the notes in Cinnibar Island's mansion claim that Mew gave birth, which goes against the fact that Mew cannot breed - in vitro fertilisation is a possible answer). Mewtwo bears a similarity to Frieza from Dragonball Z, and both are certainly very powerful.

The entire contents of Bulbapedia. Now there's some food for thought. It's true it's true, Pokemon has never exactly been the most realistic of games (skipping girlishly over the point that apparently any old small child with a pokeball can capture a legendary pokemon apparently), but part of the charm of the game I think lies in it's simplicity, otherwise we'll end up devolving into Sid Meir's Civilization levels of complexity. Although I totally agree with the point about some pokemon and their moves.... It's hard to imagine Dodrio.... running through the air? There's no other explanation.... In other news, breeding Eevees is apparently laughably easy... I now have all seven evolutions and a spare! Oh well... now it's back to running around Sinnoh with a Vs Seeker.....
