Chester-Le-Street! Chester-Le-Streeeeeet! So good they named it thrice!
Azumanga gets my vote, it'd be a good contrast for the doom'n'gloom of X.

Anyone who pronounces it the Geordie way rather than the French way gets a good spanking though.

You and your spanking. Good grief, do you ever drag your mind out of the gutter?

Does the one person person quoted count as 'masses' in the plural? (There is a precendent, but since it's in the Excel Saga manga, I'm not sure its quite O.E.D.-ready.)
It wasn't even clear whether we were having a revote... But now it's presumably in the hands of fate anyway. Making the democracy experiment end in total failure.

Making the democracy experiment end in total failure. No-one ever said this was a democracy. The votes are merely to divert attention from the tyranny.

people just need a thin illusion of democracy while the real business of government goes on that's a quote from our old senior returning officer! but I've never seen any of these series, so I will whole-heartedly back whichever one wins through sheer ignorance

Choosing between Azumanga or Read or Die I think I will go for Read or Die just because I find Azumanga slightly too sketch like to watch en mass.

Don did, at the first Freshers' Fair of his presidency, but I'm the only other witness. Not assassinated yet, though.

Well not much point really as both (from what I remember) are just redone bits of the series...
