The bad news for you, then, is that the Home Office's proposed law forbidding possession of 'extreme pornography' would outlaw only images of actual or realistic bestiality; Dixie Kong erotica would be fine unless it involved actual monkeys (although mere monkey nakedness would presumably still be allowed). Another consequence of the proposals would be that it would be legal to possess tentacle rape hentai but not to possess images of actual, consensual SM of more than the mildest kinds. We have strange people too, and they work in the Home Office.

I can kind of see the point in this, for example women aren't exposed to pottential exploitation with animated porn. Also animated pors only purpose is to be arrousing, so in that respect there's much less guilt involved than if you were actually looking at a picture of somebody naked say.
I think it's mostly intended to stop the manufacture of extreme pornography which has a tendency to prey upon vulnerable people, rather than neccesarily censoring the material itself
I appreciate I've completely failed to express my point coherrently so please be gentle with this post

It didn't lend itself to being cut down, so I've deleted it. Good job I didn't post the full 7000+ word analysis...
Could you consider establishing more formalised criteria in preference to purely case-by-case adjudication when people push (hitherto invisible) boundaries? I'd be less likely to cross lines if I could see them first.

Make a new topic on the General board if you feel a pressing need to discuss non-anime stuff. 2) Be nice- do not post anything that could be taken as a personal insult by any other forum user. This is not an anonymous board- everyone knows who everyone else is, and it would be a lot of hassle if fights break out at meetings. 3)Mark spoilers clearly- if discussing anime the society hasn't watched, then DO NOT RUIN THE PLOT!!! Make it abundantly clear when there are spoilers in your posts. Its not like any of these things is a major issue for the boards, but you did ask. On topic- it doesn't strike me as particularly weird that Mikoto can solicite a guy so easily. The sort of people who hang out around dark alleyways late at night are not the sort of people who enquire about the age of supposed prostitutes.

In reference to the above see the new topic here. (I thought Anime Soc stuff would be a more suitable forum than General Chat.)
