Hi guys; it's about bloody time I dropped anchor at this port. Months ago didst I vow to register; and for months didst I procrastinate.
I'm Adam Hirst, usually known online as aphirst. I never got round to thinking up a cool-sounding clever alias, and the unimaginative handle stuck. However IRL I'm usually referred to as "For God's sake, shut the hell up!".
As everyone else who physically attends the society's regular meetings knows me, this is probably only for the benefit of those who don't. Well; I suppose it'll help people associate the "online me" from the "offline me"... Anyway.
I'm at Van Mildert College, I'm studying Physics (technically it's "Theoretical Physics", but the degree itself doesn't deviate from "Physics" until later on in the course), and I spend a lot of time doing stuff my parents generally don't understand.
My pastimes include:
* Watching Anime (I'll watch a fairly wide selection, but the ones I specifically hunt down are usually Science-Fiction/Fantasy) * watching/Reading Science-Fiction/Fantasy (no shit, Sherlock; I haven't read nearly as much as I'd like) * Computing (spending most of my time with the hardware itself, and Linux) * Gaming (almost entirely on my laptop, DS, and more recently, my PSP) * Reading Wikipedia (mainly maths/science, but random-article is a godsend) * Watching YouTube (Mah Boi, this peace is what all true warriors strive for!) * Procrastinating (arguably covering many of the above entries)
I've lost my train of thought now. If I've forgotten anything that anyone actually cares about enough to want to know; I suppose you could send some Hired Goons to my house. Or, like, post a reply. Your choice, I guess.

Don't forget, everyone, it's the Christmas party tomorrow! Starting at approximately 8pm at Anime Towers, we'll be exchanging Secret Santa presents, watching movies, playing games, and eating lots of stuff. Costumes optional.
